Meet Priya and Ben
Priya is Indian, and Ben is English
Ben describes Priya as an altogether loveable person. She is a lot of fun, and her energy and desire to do good for others are completely intimidating. She likes adventure and exploration but also adores and appreciates the simple things in life.
Priya describes Ben as someone who has a terrific and infectious sense of humour, always knowing what to say so that people will consider him a laugh to be around. He’s practical and logical but knows when to understand through positive and negative times truly. He trusts and has a good heart for those he cares about.
Planning the Ceremony
The main planning for Priya and Ben’s wedding ceremony went smoothly. The hard part was the venue telling them weeks before their big day that they were no longer available. Priya and Ben are a great couple, and I know they will not panic. They get on Google, make some phone calls, do some site visits, and confirm a new venue that the registrar and I are happy to go to and deliver their legal marriage and their multicultural celebrant wedding ceremony.
What Made this Multicultural Celebrant Wedding Ceremony Special
After my welcome to all, the ceremony started traditionally with Ben waiting at the front for Priya. The bridal entrance included the Bridesmaids, Ben’s Nieces, and then Priya.
Then followed the Ganesh Puja, Garland Ceremony, readings and The Couple’s story. Priya had written a special poem for Ben, and when she read it out, I could see tears, I heard laughter, and there was definitely love in the room for the couple. We then had the Ring Ceremony, followed by the Sindhoor ritual and ended with my blessings to the couple.
About the Venue
Aubrey Park Hotel’s woodland backdrop and beautiful indoor and outdoor exclusive space allow it to offer one of the most exclusive and memorable wedding venues in Hertfordshire. It hosts civil and celebrant wedding ceremonies and has an indoor and outdoor space for wedding receptions.
Testimonial
We brought Sonal onboard to be our Celebrant and be able to conduct our multicultural wedding in a beautiful and tasteful way. She certainly delivered. From the first moment we got in touch to then checking in leading up to the big day. Sonal was friendly and approachable and made sure we kept organised and relaxed. We made a new friend in the process and couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be part of what was the most important part of the day. Thank you, Sonal. We thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
